possible that contaminants in the preparation may have contributed some of the effects observed. The present study describes the purification of MCR to a homogeneous single component as demonstrated by poly acrylamide gel electrophoresis and NH@-terminaIamino acid analysis and presents preliminary information on the ability of MCR to degrade PM2 DNA in vitro and DNA within Novikoff hepatoma cells.
